Spring 2021 New Release – Sneak Peek Day 2

Hello crafty friends! We’re thrilled to continue on with our Spring 2021 New Release Sneak Peeks! Today I have for you a super fun interactive card. This card features a new addition to our Stand-Alone dies collection and it’s super easy to make!

The greatest thing about this set of dies is that it creates a pop-up card that folds flat and fits into a 6″ x 6″ square envelope for mailing! It is also super fun to do! This die set comes with a polaroid frame which pops up as you twist on one side of the card base (you’ll see this card in action in the step-by-step video on our YouTube Channel next week ^ . ^).

You can easily decorate both sides of the card with the picture frames and images as I have done here, add the stitched covering panels, include a couple of sentiment tabs and voilà! The cute images you see on this card are from our new stamp set, Aloha Hawaii! This set is super adorable with punny sentiments that you can use for various occasions!

Another great thing about this die set is that you can switch out the polaroid frame as the pop-up element for another, such as your favourite die-cut critter, or a 2-tier birthday cake (which will also be part of the new release by the way), to create different pop-up surprises!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Sneak Peek. Don’t forget that Reveal & Inspiration Chapter begins on 22nd Mar (next Monday). We’ll have wonderful inspirations featuring our new release from our Creative team, and of course, Giveaways – so stay with us!

Congrats on a New Home!

Hi guys! An early Happy British Columbia Day to all! As a Canadian shop, we’re celebrating this special day with a 15% OFF sitewide, today and tomorrow!

Today I have a card for you featuring multiple stamps and dies from different releases!

To set the scene, I used the body of the Home Sweet Home stand-alone die cut on The Sandstone Series – Cool Granite – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock. I blended Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink onto it for some added shadowing. I then cut out the roof using the Mysterious Galaxy – Medium Weight Premium Cardstock. This cardstock has a subtle shimmer to it and I like it a lot for the roof!

I took some patterned paper and The Sandstone Series – Banana Boat – Premium Fine Paper to mimic wallpapers on the inside of the home.

I stamped and Copic colored images from multiple stamp sets, including Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2), Sweet Ride, Lucky Break, Bee Happy, Cuddly Sheeps Seasons’ Greetings, Rabbit Café, Summer Sunshine, My BFF, and Congratulations!

I took the adorable girl from Sweet Ride and the cute bunny from Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) and placed them inside the home, looking out the window and the door. I took the boy from Lucky Break and place him in front of the house.

I then placed the tiny bee from Bee Happy on the window sill, and bells from Cuddly Sheep’s Season’s Greetings on the door for some extra décor!

I also gave the little bunny a rose which was from the My BFF stamp set!

I thought the home needed more decorations, so I stamped the plants from Rabbit Café multiple times, and used them as potted plants in front of this home.

I used sentiments from the Congratulations stamp set to finish off this card. I did some masking to make “Congratulations” into a short-form “Congrats!” as I thought the full version was a bit long for this card, and I’m happy with how it turned out!

For the final touch, I added the smiley sunshine from the Summer Sunshine stamp set to give the card a little warmth!

I hope you like today’s card. Thanks so much for stopping by!

And don’t forget, we are working hard on our next release, and we hope to bring you some new goodies real soon!

A Super Sweet Just Because Card with Anja!

Hi friends! Anja is back today with a super cute card featuring The Sweetest Truck stamp set and its coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts!

First she die cut two panels using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays and the Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangles Overlays. She chose a rainbow patterned paper as her back panel and white cardstock for the top panel.

I love that she took the negative space from a die cut heart as a template and stamped out cute little desserts multiple times to create this gorgeous pattern in a heart shape! They all look super yummy! All the images were then colored with Copic markers.

She also stamped the little girl from the set and added a donut in her hand! Our die cut piece for this little girl has a slot at her hand so that you give her any wonderful dessert from the set as you wish!

To finish off, she added a sentiment “STAY SWEET” from the Rabbit Cafe stamp set, which is perfect for this card!

Thank you Anja! I love this sweet and adorable card!

A Coffee Themed Friendship Card with Anja!

Hi guys! Anja is back today sharing a super adorable coffee themed friendship card!

Anja combined images from The Sweetest Truck, Rabbit Café, and There’s No One Like You stamp sets to create this gorgeous scene!

I love how she masked off the ice cream images from the Truck, stamped out the coffee cups and donuts on the truck instead, and turned it into a coffee truck!

I love the way she built her scene, with the truck parked on a path inside a garden. The green field was beautifully blended using Distress Oxide Ink Mowed Lawn. The cute little girl was from the Rabbit Café stamp set.

She also added some boarder details to her card by using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays! She then used alphabet die cuts from Lawn Fawn to spell out COFFEE onto her card.

I love how she added even more details on these giant letters by stamping out the coffee beans image from There’s No One Like You stamp set! Such a clever idea!

Thanks Anja for your wonderful scene!

An Adorable Encouragement Card with Jo!

Hi guys, happy Friday! Jo is back today with a lovely encouragement card for all of us, featuring products from our very first release, the Bee Happy stamp set! Check out her video tutorial on our YouTube Channel!

This is a clean and simple card. She took images from the Bee Happy stamp set and colored them with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. I love that she stamped a whole bunch of flowers and put them into the Honey jar and made it into a pot of plant!

She used the largest dies from both the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays and the Dots Meet Dashes Small Rectangles Overlays for her card panels and layered them.

I really love the color combination on this card, including the bright yellow hues together with the black and white card stock, and the large black alphabet die cut letters.

Let’s all BEE Positive! Thank you Jo for your encouragement card! We all need this positivity around us!
