Spring 2021 New Release - Slimline Pull Tab card

Spring 2021 New Release – Sneak Peek Day 4

Spring 2021 New Release Schedule

Hi crafty friends! I’m really excited about today’s Sneak Peeks because today’s card is made with some of my favourite products in this release! As I promised, you’ll see brand new clear stamps that have the “Around the World” theme, and today’s stamp set is themed around….Egypt! Isn’t that the coolest?!

I made this slimline pull tab interactive card using a new stand-alone die set from our release. This set has four different lengths of slit die cuts which you can choose to cut out tracks to form your moving mechanism. Here I wanted the camel to stroll along the desert! This set also includes two slimline rectangle stackables with simple dotted borders that is ideal for all different types of greeting cards!

See the desert landscape and the three dimensional sand dunes background? This was created using the Desert Scene Builder Dies + Stencil (2 in 1) set. This new set gives you the tools for making beautiful and unique landscapes, especially on slimline cards. Stay tuned for our step-by-step tutorial over on our YouTube Channel.

I’d love to know what you think about this card. Leave me a message down below. Be sure to come back tomorrow for more!

Happy crafting everyone!

New Video – Stencils 360° Two-For-One technique with Ashley!

Happy Monday friends! Today Ashley is back to inspire us with a gorgeous duo of cards featuring the Summer Blossom Stencils 360°TM.

Using the 7 1/2 x 7 1/2″ Paper Positioner as a guide, Ashley centred her 7 1/2 x 9″ white cardstock panel in the center of the Stencils 360°TM tool. She chose a turning interval of 30° for the stencil throughout her ink blending process. This is easily achieved by making references to the ‘circle’ symbols on The Base of the tool.

She used a different colored Distress Oxide ink during each rotation, namely, Tattered Rose, Dried Marigold, Antique Linen, Bundled Sage, Stormy Sky and Dusty Concord, to create this beautiful rainbow hue on the canvas!

By cutting the big panel in half directly down the middle, she made two cards of identical size. She then further cut them using a slimline rectangle die.

On the first card, she used the Never Lose Hope die cut with some sparkly silver cardstock. To finish off, she used some small hearts die-cuts for some extra sparkle!

The sentiment “I’m Beyond Grateful to have a friend like you” on her second card was from Words from the Heart (Chapter 2) stamp set.

Don’t forget to watch her step by step video tutorial over on our YouTube Channel!

We hope you’re inspired by today’s cards, thank you for stopping by. Thank you so much Ashley for your charming creations!

New Video: This Shaker Card Will Brighten Up Your Day!

Hi guys, Jo is back to share another one of her amazing shaker cards today! This card features the Stencils Stencils 360°TM Starter Kit and the Sacred Lotus Stencils 360°TM and The Orbit Stencils 360TM.

She took one of the 8″ Barrels from the Sacred Lotus Stencils 360°TM set and ink blended using a turning interval of 22.5° to create this bright yellow flower!

For the base of her shaker window, she blended a sphere using The Orbit Stencils 360°TM. I love how this image mimics the centre of a sunflower!

Using the smaller 4″ stencil from the Sacred Lotus Stencils 360°TM set, she inked a few smaller sized flowers on three corners of her slimline. This was easily done even without the 360° tool. I love the contrast of the bright yellow and green!

She used the scalloped and circle dies from the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts for her shaker window.

The sentiment “You Are Amazing” is from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set.

This card is so full of positive energy! Watch her video tutorial below or over on your YouTube Channel!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful evening.

Amazing Slimline Wreath by Bobbi!

Hi friends, Bobbi is back today with this gorgeous creation of hers, featuring our Stencils 360° Starter Kit  and the Scents of Fall Stencils 360°™.

Wow, I just love this elegant piece of art, full of fall vibes! Bobbi‘s slimline card measures 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall and it fits perfectly in a business-sized envelope.

First she cut out a panel of size 7″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall to do her ink blending on the Scents of Fall Stencils 360°™ to create this wreath. I love this idea since she can make a full wreath and have it appear on both the front and the back of the card – super clever!

The process of making this wreath was super simple, all you need to do is follow the markings on the new Stencils 360° and rotating the stencil at a 60° turning interval, ie. making references to every other circle on the scale! For the blending, she used Ranger Distressed Inks in Gathered Twigs (pinecones and stems), Milled Lavender (Leaves) and Rusty Hinge (pine branches).

I love the added shading on the pinecones, branches and berries with Copic coloring! It really elevates the look! More colors were added to the background using watercolor splatters in gold metallic and additional line designs wiht Copics.

The sentiment, “My deepest gratitude” from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set was heat embossed in white on a deep plum cardstock which really pops!

On the inside of the card she had two panels measuring 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall. These panels are adhered to cover any bleed from the Copic coloring.

On this panel, she stenciled a few pinecones and branches using Gathered Twigs with a touch of ink splatter in black which looks really beautiful! The phrase, “Heartfelt Thanks” was also from Heartfelt Notes.

To finish off her card she added a few metallic floral sequins for a little sparkle!

Thank you so much Bobbi for this magnificent creation!

Slimline Picnic Scene with Anja!

Hi guys! Wish you all had a very Happy Canada Day yesterday. Today we have Anja sharing another slimline card with us!

This slimline is telling a story and I love it! Anja combined images from The Sweetest Truck, Never Give Up, My BFF, Summer Sunshine and the Bee Happy stamp sets!

She die cut 3 stitched slimline panels to create the sky and the grassy hills scene. I love the Distress Oxide ink blending on the background. She used Tumbled Glass for the sky, and Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters for the grassy hills.

I love the smiley trees which are built using the images from My BFF stamp set, the bunnies, flowers, butterflies and the kitty in the trolley are also from the same set.

The other characters are a mixture of images from Summer Sunshine, Sweetest Truck and the Bee Happy stamp sets. All of the images were colored using Copics and aren’t they lovely!!

I love that she added some cute refreshments on the table (those adorable sushis are from Never Give Up stamp set) to make the scene even more interesting! Looks like this bunch is having a great party!

She assembled her card using both liquid glue and foam tape to create a bit of dimension to the card.

Thank you Anja! This scene is so full of fun!
