Winter Release Inspiration Week & Giveaway – Day 5

Time flies! Welcome back to Sunbird Spark’s Winter Release Inspiration Week – Day 5! A warm reminder that today is your LAST chance to comment on all of the Inspiration Week’s blog posts to play along (more on how to play along on our Giveaway HERE!) for your chance to win our best-selling Stencils 360°™ Friends Ed. stenciling tool!

Today, I’m thrilled to showcase our new Music Magic (Chapter 1) & (Chapter 2) stamp sets, along with their coordinating dies! These are perfect for creating cards for my music-loving friends and family members, and I can already imagine getting a lot of use from them. They’re also fantastic for making masculine cards!

I love how Mimi creatively used the coordinating dies of Music Magic (Chapter 1) as stencils! She die-cut the guitar and heart, then ink-blended them in a pastel rainbow palette. Next, she stamped the images slightly offset from the blended areas with black ink for a striking effect. To add more interest, she randomly stamped the confetti squares and used the Melodic Tunes Stencil 360 to stencil in some music notes.

The bold die-cut sentiment comes from the Music Heals stand-alone dies. I especially love the silver glitter and the glittery stars she added to the accessory images for the extra sparkle!

Now, let’s take a look at Candice’s stunning card! She stamped the instrument silhouettes from Music Magic (Chapter 2) in crisp black ink, creating a striking contrast against her gorgeously ink-blended background. The smooth gradient of colors she used really enhances the drama of the silhouettes, making each instrument pop!

Next we have Eileen’s creations. I love this encouragement card especially how she layered the images from Music Magic (Chapter 2) around a rectangular gold frame, creating a stunning 3D effect!

Eileen also made a gorgeous shaker card. She stamped the instrument silhouettes in Versafine Vintage Sepia directly onto the card base, and I love the sequins and glitter she added for extra sparkle. The sentiment, “Compose Your Destiny,” from Music Magic (Chapter 1), pairs beautifully with this card. The gold rectangle adds an elegant finishing touch!

I created a simple card by randomly stamping the musical instrument silhouettes from the Music Magic Chatper 2 stamp set, using Versafine black ink, then added the bold Music Heals die-cut using blue glitter cardstock, paired with silver holographic cardstock for the shadow. To finish, I embellished it with matching sapphire-colored gems.

This bold yet elegant stamp set is perfect for music-themed cards, and the black silhouettes lend themselves particularly well to masculine cards!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s inspirations! It’s been such a fun week! Be sure to join us again tomorrow as we wrap up our Winter Release Inspiration Week and announce the lucky winners of our Giveaways!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

Ashley’s Super Adorable Just Because Card!

Hi guys! Ashley’s card for today will sure light up someone’s day!

Ashely combined images from The Sweetest Truck, Fun Night Out and Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp sets!

I love the scene that she created here! For her background, she die cut a piece of light blue cardstock cut using the largest die from our Dots Meets Dashes Large Rectangle Overlay die (and also die cut with a cloud stitched cover die); together with a piece of light green cardstock as the grassy field.

I love that she had the little cub server inside the truck, and she put so many different desserts into the paws of the little critters! Aren’t they cute!?

Those bright and colorful images were elevated onto foam squares and arranged on the card front. The sentiments from The Sweetest Truck were stamped out onto strips of light green cardstock in black ink, while the word TRUCK was die cut with some alphabet die set out of yellow patterned paper!

I love how she further decorated her card with a bunch of music notes which gave this card an extra ounce of happiness!

This card is super adorable, thank you Ashley for your fun and happy inspiration!

Jo’s Awesome Ice Cream Truck Scene!

Jo joins us today with a gorgeous card with lots of awesome details! You can watch her step-by-step video over on our YouTube Channel!

Jo blended a super dreamy sky with her own cloudy stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. She created a park scene where the ice-cream truck was parked against the sidewalk and a beautiful piece of lawn. All of her images from The Sweetest Truck stamp set were colored using Copic Markers and die cut using their coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. I love her choices of sharp and vibrant colors!

She used may of the dessert images from the set and I just love how each of the character is holding on to their favourite treats! She also used Copics to sketch out the sidewalk and the grassy details which looks fantastic!

She finished off her card with one of the sentiments from the set, “wishing you truck loads of…” while stamping out “ICE CREAM, SWEETS, and DONUTS” together with a bunch of music notes as if music was coming from the truck!

Thank you so much or sharing this beautiful card with us today, Jo! It’s totally awesome and it just reminds me that Spring is here!

Penguin Party Scene with Anja!

Hi everybody! To kickstart the weekend, Anja is back with us to share a cute friendship card, featuring our Penguin Agenda stamp set and coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

For the background, Anja used the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo on the Cyber Wallpaper stencil.

Besides stamping out cute images from the Penguin Agenda stamp set, she also mixed in some small images from the Fun Night Out stamp set. She colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and die cut them with the coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. I love how the penguins are holding up drinks and a microphone!

After the transfer gel was dried, she put the flock transfer sheet on her background and ran it through her die cut machine.

To finish off, she stamped out a sentiment pulled from the Fun Night Out stamp set, “Let’s Wiggle and Giggle All Night”, with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.

Thank you Anja for sharing this lovely creation! The penguins sure look like they’re a great time!

Thanks for stopping by our blog, have a wonderful weekend!

Super Fun Interactive Slider Card with our Guest Designer Debby!

Hi All! I’m so excited that Debby Van Diepen’s guest designing for us again this week! She made a fun interactive slider card using our new release Fun Night Out stamp set & dies, and the Rain of Hearts – Penguin Perfect Patterns, designer stencil! Let’s check it out!

I love the way she masked-off the card to create a triangular shaped spotlight with a rainbow color blend just below the disco ball! For this middle portion of the card, she chose Distress Oxide inks Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. She then blended the rest of the card using Spun Sugar and Wilted Violet. On top of that she did another layer of blending using Spun Sugar with the Rain of Hearts stencil!

I love how she stamped out 3 puppies and put them side by side. Love the colors and the gel pen detailing on the puppies. They look super cute with the slider mechanism! Check out the card in action below!

The sentiment, sequins and music notes gave the card the perfect finishing touches!

Thank you so much Debby. I love the layered blending on this card!
