November Inspiration Week

November Inspiration Week – Day 2

Hello and welcome to Penguin Palace’s November 2021 Inspiration Week! All of our new Fall/Winter 2021 products are available at www.ppstamps.com! If you’re just joining us, don’t forget to head over to our Giveaway Post from yesterday where you can leave your comments to win!

Today is our showcase of Starry Spiral Stencils 360°! This set contains two circular 8″ stencils that are designed to work with our Stencils 360° tool. They can be used separately or combined to achieve very different looks!

Candice created this super cute mini slimline using both stencils. Instead of following the suggested turning interval of 22.5 degrees (or hopping along the heart shapes on our Stencils 360° tool), she decided to use a turning interval of 45 degrees, jumping from triangle to triangle, to create this colorful background! This panel was cut from the dotted border die in the Cinematic Shadow Box stand-alone die set.

This forms a defined spiral which creates this perfect focal point for her cute alien (from Let’s Meet IRL) in the centre! This is a great yet simple way to structure your card.

I just love the colorful stars! Since the stars are spaced far apart on the stencil, there is no need for any masking to apply multi-colors at the same time!

I created this card using both stencils, following the suggested turning interval of 22.5 degrees. This creates a more dramatic spiral where the stars are spaced a lot closer together. I added a sentiment from Heartfelt Notes which fits perfectly in the centre.

I then cut out narrow strips of cardstocks and added them to my card diagonally just like the way I’d wrap ribbons on a present! This is a great way to use up the scraps in my craft room!

Julie did a space scene by creating a goregous starry background with these stencils. Some of you may have seen this card when we showcased the Let’s Meet IRL stamp set.

I thought I’d showcase it here again to show you the different looks you can get with this stencil set! While turning her stencil at 45 degrees, she also added some more stars with heat embossing to create even more interest to her card!

Notice how the spiral is going in another direction then the above two cards? Just by simply flipping your stencil, you can easily achieve a different design!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s inspirations! We will continue to have lots of wonderful products and projects to showcase this week so don’t forget to visit us again tomorrow! Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

Inspiration Week Giveaway Post

November Inspiration Week – Giveaway Post!

Hello and welcome to Penguin Palace’s November 2021 Inspiration Week! Our new Fall/Winter 2021 Release is now available at http://www.ppstamps.com! Hooray!

Starting today we will focus on more products from our new Fall/Winter Release, with our Creative Team’s card samples, and more Giveaways!

Today is our showcase of Floral Garden Cover Die. This stand-alone die set is super g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! It is one of the most versatile die sets to have in your craft stash as you can use it for so many different types of cards!

Make sure to make it all of the way to the bottom for a chance to win! Now let’s take a look at some awesome projects from our Creative Team!

Using this 5 x 7 Floral Garden Cover Die on deep navy blue cardstocks and pairing it with a golden die-cut butterfly from Butterfly Emergence 2 in 1 Layered Dies, Stefanie’s card is looking super elegant and classy! I’m in love with the tone-on-tone effect on this card.

She only used Layers 3 and 4 from the layered die set yet her butterfly looks absolutely stunning! The gold heat embossed sentiment was from Magical Christmas Sentiments. I love the matching gold sequins as the finishing touch!

Julie made a charming anniversary card while also pairing this cover die with the Butterfly Emergence 2 in 1 Layered Dies. She used all of the 4 layers in the layered die set to create her delightful butterflies. The layering details on these are so amazing!

I love her mini belly band design on where she added a French sentiment which I find truly unique!

Karen created a white on white background with this cover die which gave her card a light and graceful feel! She trimmed down her panel to create a frame for her card. She then added a butterfly silhouette using just Layer 1 from Butterfly Emergence 2 in 1 Layered Dies. The simple sentiment is also from the Magical Christmas Sentiments.

I love how she added a line of gems to accentuates the butterfly silhouette and the pop of colors against the pure white background!
