Fall 2020 New Release – Sneak Peek Day 2

Hi guys! We’d thrilled to continue on with our Sneak Peeks! Today I’ve for you another card which is on the more feminine side.

This time I wanted to create a floral card. We’ve all tried using stamps to do flowers or wreaths. What if I told you that these overlapping petals and layering were all ink blended using stencils? Interested in giving that a try?

The sentiment you see inside this card is from one of the stamp sets in this release. I’ve always loved the elegant style of scripty handwritten fonts, especially for longer sentiments like this one.

Whereas on the front of the card, I chose the sentiment, “My Deepest Gratitude”. This is a clean and modern sans-serif typeface that I also love. I also used up some scrap cardstocks I had in my stash, Splendorlux Argento – Heavy Weight Premium Cardstock and The Sandstone Series – Lavender Field – Premium Fine Paper, to create the bold strips to give it a nice definition between the graphics and the sentiment.

Hello everyone! I’m super excited to announce that our Fall 2020 new release is just around the corner!  This release is all about INNOVATION!  We have something that is truly revolutionary for the entire crafting community!  Brace yourself for a new fun tool that will change your perspective on stencils forever! 

Today’s card is created using this new gadget, in combination with one of the stencils from our new release.

I used Distress Oxide inks on this card and I wanted to create a duo-tone effect. The combination of Shaded Lilac and Twisted Citron is refreshing. I think these colors combined with the black card base give the card a very modern look.
