One Large Canvas • Two Amazing Cards – with Ashley!

Hi crafty friends, happy Monday! Today we have Ashley with us sharing a pair of cards she created using the Stencils 360°TM and the Sacred Lotus Stencils.

Ashley chose the largest size Paper Positioner and used a 7 1/2″ piece of white cardstock as her canvas. To begin, she blended alternating colours of Distress Oxide inks in Speckled Egg, and Chipped Sapphire on just one of the stencil (Barrel 2) from the Sacred Lotus Stencil set, jumping from one heart symbol to another (ie. turning her stencil at 22.5° at each rotation); while leaving one out of every four rotations blank to later position her heat embossed petals.

After she’s done all her ink blending, she used Versamark ink and added silver embossing powder on the remaining petals. I just love the shimmery look with the heat embossing!

She cut the entire canvas in two halves and used the second largest rectangle die from the Dots Meets Dashes rectangle stand-alone die cuts to cut a matching panel out of each half. These panels each measures 3 3/4″ x 5″.

These beautiful scripty sentiments were from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set.

I love the silver foil card bases as they go really well with the heat embossed petals.

She finally added a scatter of gems to each card for some extra glitter!

Don’t forget to check out her video tutorial below or over on our YouTube Channel!

Thank you so much Ashley! These cards are so amazing!

A Simple & Colorful Encouragement Card by Ashley!

Hi everyone! Today we have Ashley back with us with a super colorful card to start the week off!

For her background, she used the Orbit Stencils 360°TM at a turning interval of 30° on the Stencils 360°TM, while ink blending with a variety of Distress Oxide inks including Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet.

She cut her panel using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays – Stand-Alone Die for the delicate border details. This stand-alone die is so simple and neat you could use it on any type of cards you’re making!

The stamped images are from one of our older stamp sets, Love Train which she colored with Copic makers, die cut, and adhered with foam tapes onto her background. What I love about this stamp set is that it not only is great for encouragement cards, but also for birthday cards, just-because & thinking of you cards!

The sentiment she chose is perfect for this card!

I hope you’re inspired to create an encouragement card to your loved one today! Anyone would be thrilled to receive a warm encouragement during these tough times!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

A Cool Galaxy Themed Shaker Card with Jo!

Hi crafty friends! Jo is back to share a fun galaxy themed shaker card with us today!

She first blended her background using Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks. She then splattered a touch of metallic paint to give it the shimmery look.

Then with our Stencils 360°TM, she blended Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink on The Orbit Stencils 360°TM, with a turning interval of 45°. I love the look of the array of dark planets, super cool!

This white heat embossed fun scripty sentiment from the Words From the Heart (Chapter 1) stamp set is the perfect match for this card! She die cut the middle portion of the card using the hexagon die from the coordinating die set and created the shaker window.

The the accessory images on here came from the My BFF stamp set and the Lucky Break stamp set. This little boy jumping in joy is super cute!

A Clean & Elegant Floral Card by Anja!

Hello everybody! Today Anja is back to share a beautiful floral card created using the new Floral Wreath Stencils 360° TM!

Anja first cut a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card panel using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Overlays stand-alone die.

With our new Stencils 360°TM and the new Floral Wreath Stencils 360° TM, she ink blended a combination of Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks while turning her stencil at an interval of 45°.

This instantly results in a super elegant floral background for her card!

She stamped out a sentiment “May You Be Happy Always” from Words From The Heart (Chapter 2) using two of the same inks she used for her background to give it a cohesive look. This sentiment was die cut using a circular die from Words From The Heart (Chapters 1&2) Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts.

To give it a little more interest, she further die cut another piece using the hexagon die from Words From The Heart (Chapters 1&2) Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts on a matching color cardstock and adhered that underneath the sentiment.

Wreath building are certainly cool with stamps, but have you tried it with Stencils yet? If not, you are missing out on the fun!

Thanks Anja for your wonderful creation! I just love the feminine and delicate look of this card!

Cuteness Overload!!

Hello! I just had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with my family here in Canada and I’m super grateful. To start this week off, I have two super cute cards from our Creative Team!

First up we have Ashley’s Happy Birthday card!

Oh boy, this card is so full of positive energy!! I love how Ashley made this colorful background using the Waterspout Stencils 360TM. Good news is that this stencil already comes in the Stencils 360TM Starter Kit!

Ashley cut her card panel with the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlays for some added border detailing.

Using the Waterspout Stencils 360TM, she chose a turning interval of 30° and blended a variety of rainbow colors for her background using Distress Oxide inks (Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet). She chose a pair of adorable puppies from Fun Night Out for her focal images, along with some accessory images and coloured them in Copic Markers.

To finish off, she added some gems to give it the extra sparkly look! Such a fun and happy card!

Next we have Bobbi’s slimline creation. Her card measures 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall, and she paired the Never Lose Hope Shadow Dies with the Happy Track and Field (Chapter 1) stamp and coordinating die sets.

I just love the composition of this card! She used the trio of fans in the centre and added the Never Lose Hope shadow die as her bold sentiment. I love how she gave each fan the extra colorful flag to wave! Super cute!

She stamped the leaping frog head, cut that out using the heart shape part of the shadow phrase die and added it to the heart in the word “HOPE”. This resonates with the frog leaping on top!

Additional windy swirls were added using a Uni-ball Pen Signo white gel Pen to complete her card.  The sentiment “Take a Leap of Faith” adds the perfect finishing touch.

Thank you so much Ashley and Bobbi for your amazing creations!
