Hi friends! Everyone needs a little encouragement now and then! Giorgia is back to share this gorgeous card which will sure put a smile on your face!
Her card features the In Love With London digital stamp set. She started by arranging her scene using Photoshop. Then she colored the images using alcohol markers and color pencils.
Notice how she tried to portray the moment during which the rain is stopping and the sun is coming out – how lovely! The sentiment on here ties everything together.
I just love the color blending on this piece of art. The highlights and shadows are remarkable! Thank you so much Giorgia for sharing this wonderful inspiration!
I love how she mixed and match the stencils in the set to create these gorgeous overlays!
She cut the panel down into a square and adhered it to a pink card base. Next, she stamped and die-cut a sentiment from the Inseparable stamp set and adhered it to the center of the mandala.
She also added a few colorful jewel embellishments to finish off the card.

Hello everyone! Today’s 8th March 2022, and I am super excited to be a part of the 4th International Women’s Day Instagram Hop!
I’m pleased to say that Penguin Palace, among many others are sponsoring this year’s hop. Head over to the Women.Beyoutifully.You IG account to start hopping and discover lots of wonderful inspirations from many talented artists, AND chances to win!
For today’s IG hop, I made this encouragement card which I hope could bring everyone some positive energy! This background was created using Botanical Garden Stencils 360° on our Stencils 360°TM tool, at a turning interval of 60°.
I ink blended a combination of six pastel inks from Catherine Pooler, namely Melon Ice, Mint To Be, It’s a Girl, Bellini, It’s a Boy and Sweet Sixteen. I used one color on each turn of my stencil to create this multi-colored stenciled background without any masking needed!
I Copic colored an adorable image from our yet-to-be released stamp set called Inseparable (a little sneak peek for you!). I used the fade-out no-line coloring ink from InkOn3 to stamp out my image as I thought this would coordinate well with the pastel background.
I clear heat embossed a sentiment “Together We Are Stronger” (another little sneak peek from our soon-to-be released stamp set called Unity and Friendship Quotes!); which I think ties in perfectly with this card’s encouragement theme.
I adhered my panel onto White-Sand Beach – Heavyweight Premium Cardstock which compliments my blended ink colors. Finally I added some gems for a little sparkle. Watch this clip to see the step by step process!
I hope you enjoy this inspiration! And I hope all of us crafters will continue to be kind, positive, and supportive of each other as we take a step forward towards women empowerment!
Thank you for stopping by, and don’t forget to head over to Women Beyoutifully You’s FB page and play along in their linky party for another chance to win!
She stamped the hugging kitties image from My BFF onto a heart and colored them using Copic markers.
I love how she die cut two hearts and placed them behind the kitties to create a focal point!
She also white heat embossed the sentiment and added some embellishments to finish off the card.
We love seeing your creations and would love for you to join us in this month’s challenge! All you have to do to enter is use the above color palette to create a project that features at least one Penguin Palace product as the focal point. Full challenge rules can be found here.
