I love that she had both the cute bear server and the little girl looking out the window of the truck.
She blended her background using Mustard See, Spiced Marmalade and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. These colors go cohesively with her colored images. I love how she masked of a portion on the panel while blending to leave a thick white boarder for some bold contrast.
She then white heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment with on black cardstock.
For some final touches, she stamped the tiny starts and hearts in matching inks to create a tone-on-tone effect. She also added some glossy accents over the windows of the truck for some shimmer and shine!
Thank you Anja for sharing this sweet creation! A clean and simple card is always the best!

I’ve been longing for a stamp full of happy vibe and that is why we came up with this set. This ice cream truck themed stamp set is just so wonderful to play with!
Who doesn’t love a truck load of sweet goodies? You’ll have endless fun playing with this set with all the cute characters and timeless desserts! Great for birthday cards, friendship cards, and just because cards.
Our Creative Team had made some of the cutest cards ever, now let’s check them out!
Ashley made a super colorful just because card with this set. Her background was blended with Distress Oxide Inks, Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron. I love the silver glittery clouds she added. She chose the cute bear to be selling ice cream at of the window! I love the bunch of musical notes she added which made her card so much more alive! Click HERE to check out her video tutorial on our YouTube Channel and give it a like!
Next we have Anja’s creation. This card is so fantastic. I love the blended sky, which went so well with the color of the truck. Looks like the children and the cub are enjoying their time in the garden! I also love that she combined the sentiment “wishing you truck loads of “, altogether with “Fun”, Happiness”, and Ice cream”!
Vera made a happy birthday card in a portrait orientation. She had the cute ice cream truck as her background. This time she put both the little girl and the bear at the windows, and the little couple at the front enjoying their ice cream and beverage on a grassy field. The tone of this card just gives a super relaxing vibe!
Next we have Davina’s project. Her card is just perfect for Spring! I love the color palette that she chose. The colors on the images, cardstock, and patterned paper all comes together seamlessly. She also used some the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangle Overlay boarder dies to create layering for her card. Love the splatter of paint and the gel pen detailing as her finishing touches.
I’m so excited to have Laura Dovalo guest designing for us this week. Laura made a gorgeous happy birthday card! She made her own patterned paper by stamping out multiple times some of the accessory images from this set, including the 3-tier ice cream cone and the popsicles. I just love how this background is full of desserts that I love! She did some clever masking on the characters to make them look like they are holding the desserts in their hands, love it!
Finally, we have my card! I thought it would be fun to have the cub waving from behind the truck. By combining the stamp image with the struts supports and the Irresistible Ice-cream Treat embellishment, I attempted to mimic a giant inflatable ice cream advertising display on top of the truck! I thought it turned out pretty cool!
A BIG Thank-You to our wonderful and talented Creative Team! Head over to their blogs for more details on these cards.

I love the Distress Oxide inks in rainbow colours which were blended onto a white card panel through the Cyber Wallpaper stencil. On this card Ashley die-cut two small holes so that she could later hide two nickels behind with a popped up base to make the two cute puppies shake and dance around!
As per the puppies, the disco ball and dance floor images are all from the Fun Night Out stamp set. The cute pups shake around with this simple mechanism and they look super cute! Such a clever idea from Ashley!
Check out this card in action below, and head over to our YouTube Channel to watch in detail how this card was created!
Thank you Ashley for this inspiration! This interactive card is just too cute!!
Hi All! I’m so excited that Debby Van Diepen’s guest designing for us again this week! She made a fun interactive slider card using our new release Fun Night Out stamp set & dies, and the Rain of Hearts – Penguin Perfect Patterns, designer stencil! Let’s check it out!
I love the way she masked-off the card to create a triangular shaped spotlight with a rainbow color blend just below the disco ball! For this middle portion of the card, she chose Distress Oxide inks Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. She then blended the rest of the card using Spun Sugar and Wilted Violet. On top of that she did another layer of blending using Spun Sugar with the Rain of Hearts stencil!
I love how she stamped out 3 puppies and put them side by side. Love the colors and the gel pen detailing on the puppies. They look super cute with the slider mechanism! Check out the card in action below!
The sentiment, sequins and music notes gave the card the perfect finishing touches!
Thank you so much Debby. I love the layered blending on this card!
