🎹 A Musical Birthday Full of Hero Energy

There’s something truly special when creativity, color, and storytelling come together in one card; and today’s project by Eileen does exactly that ✨

This vibrant slimline birthday card brings music and imagination to life using the Musical Keyboard – Stand-Alone Dies and the adorable My Superhero – Clear Stamps.

🌈 A Rainbow That Plays Like Music

At first glance, the bold piano keyboard design instantly catches your eye—but look closer, and you’ll see how thoughtfully everything is layered.

The keyboard was created using the Musical Keyboard die, designed to make slimline cards effortlessly stand out. Its long, clean shape makes it perfect for creating striking focal designs, especially for music-themed projects .

Eileen took it a step further by blending a smooth rainbow gradient behind the keys; transitioning from warm sunset tones into cool teal blues. The result feels like music flowing across the card.

🦸‍♂️ A Touch of Superhero Magic

What makes this card extra special? The tiny superheroes bringing the scene to life.

The characters come from the My Superhero stamp set; a playful 24-piece clear stamp set perfect for adding personality and storytelling to your projects .

From the flying bunny to the masked bear, these little heroes turn a simple birthday card into a joyful, imaginative moment, like they’re celebrating right along with you.

✨ Thoughtful Details That Shine

Eileen added just the right finishing touches:

  • Subtle splatter for a dreamy, starry effect
  • Sparkling embellishments scattered across the keys
  • A bold “HAPPY BDAY” sentiment integrated into the design

Everything works together to create movement, almost like the card is playing a cheerful tune.

This card is a beautiful reminder that:

  • Simple shapes can become powerful designs
  • Color blending adds emotion and depth
  • Character stamps bring storytelling into your cards

The combination of structure (keyboard) + playfulness (superheroes) makes this design feel both polished and full of life.

❤️ Try It Your Way

You can easily recreate this look, or make it your own:

  • Change the color palette for different moods (pastel, monochrome, bold neon)
  • Swap characters for different themes (music lovers, kids, performers)
  • Add LEDs for a glowing stage effect

Eileen’s card is such a joyful example of how crafting can turn simple elements into something magical.

Geometrical Inspired Card Duo by Eileen!

Geometrical shapes can be one of the best ideas for gender-neutral greeting cards! Today Eileen’s duo of cards feature our latest Geometric Arts clear stamp and dies, and the coordinating Hexagon Geo Cover die.

I am loving this two for one design! Eileen ink blended a panel in rainbow hue and die cut it using the Hexagon Geo Cover die. She used the die-cut frame for the card on the left, and stamped out some hexagon images from Geometric Arts clear stamp directly into the white spaces.

I love how she die cut the fun sentiment from Everyday Sentiments and blended it using the same rainbow tone to match!

For the second card, she directly stamped out in black, the hexagon patterns from Geometric Arts clear stamp onto the die-cut hexagons, and arranged them into the same geometry as per her first card, while leaving a white negative frame.

The bold sentiment on this card is also from Everyday Sentiments.

As you can see, geometric designs can be super versatile and very easy to make. So why not try it out for yourself?

Thank you Eileen for your wonderful inspirations! Thanks for stopping by!

adorable cute street scene

An Interactive Cinematic Shadow Box – A Busy Street Scene!

Hi! I hope all of you are having a great week! Today I am sharing one of the biggest shadow scene I’ve ever made! This card is themed around a busy street with lots of fun elements!

I used the Cinematic Shadow Box stand alone die cut to create the backbone of my card. You can have up to 4 tabs in this shadow box which gives great dimension and lots of room to fit ample stamped images!

I combined images from a bunch of different stamp sets including The Sweetest Truck, Rabbit Cafe, Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2), Fun Adventure, and Sweet Ride.

I thought why not take it to the next level and combine this shadow box with an interactive element! I used the Dotted Borders Slimline Pull Tab – Stand-Alone Die to make the Ice Cream truck move down this busy street!

Check out this card in action below!

I used the Sidewalk Scene Builder – Stand-Alone Die to die cut the two sidewalks on The Sandstone Series – Smokey Eyes – Heavyweight Premium Cardstock and then added splashes of paints. For the background wall, I blended Distress Oxide Inks on the Mega Blocks stencil and die cut it using the large dotted border die from the Cinematic Shadow Box.

I just love making these mini scenes on this shadow box! Acetate played a big part in the assembly of this card.

I used acetate for a couple of the tabs in the box so that the road background could show through. I added acetate to mimic the Ice Cream Truck’s windows. I also used it for placing the music notes that are coming from the ice-cream truck!

To keep everything in perspective, I laid out the images so that larger characters go near the front and smaller ones go at the back.

I stamped out a sentiment from The Sweetest Truck on the front tab of the box which I had trimmed down to show more of the sidewalk at the bottom.

I hope you enjoyed this inspiration and thank you so much for stopping by!

birthday card

Stefanie’s Out of this World Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a white Christmas over here in Vancouver and we all enjoyed it so very much!

Stefanie is back today sharing this simple yet charming birthday card with us!

This card uses the super cute stamp set “Let’s meet IRL.” The mischievous space dogs are colored with Copics on Kraft cardstock and die cut using its coordinating dies.

I love how she used the tiny stamps from the set to create this special patterned background for a fun card!

She then added the cute sentiment and a few big die-cut bold letters to finish off the card. Kraft cardstock can be a great choice if you’re looking to make a more masculine card! Thanks Stefanie for sharing this beautiful inspiration!

We wish you a prosperous and super happy 2020!
