Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today we have Mimi’s special Valentine’s Day inspiration that will for sure melt your heart!
First she used the Gazania Stencils 360° to create this dreamy floral background. She used Barrel B from this stencil set and rotated it at 22.5 degree turning intervals (referencing the heart symbols), while alternating between two hues of pink, namely Kitsch Flamingo and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide inks.
She further layered Barrel C on top for the added dimension, again with the same turning interval, but this time blending with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide.
She then colored and die cut a super adorable little girl from Most Wonderful Time stamp set. I like how she also gave her a cute love banner (from the Inseparable stamp set)!
She also die cut some hearts from Inseparable and scatter them over the card. Then using the negative die-cut of this heart, she ink blend even more hearts onto her card with matching ink colors, Kitsch Flamingo and Pickled Raspberry Distress Oxides.
To finish off, she added a sentiment from Birthday Wishes and applied some Diamond Stickles & more sparkly embellishments!
Thank you so much Mimi for sharing this sweet inspiration!
Hi Friends! We are super excited that Giorgia Malavasi is joining our Digital Design Team starting this month! Giorgia is super talented and I love her style of cards! Follow her on Instagram for more of her inspirations!
Today Giorgia is sharing this beautiful Japan themed card she made using our latest Kawaii Japan Digital stamp set!
She masked a circular background and blended it using Distress inks and chalk inks. I’m loving the white steamy detail that she created which compliments the scattered sakura across the panel!
She printed the digis out and colored them with Copics. I love the calm & soothing looking color choices.
The she cut the images out using her Cricut, with a slight offset to all of the images. Cricut is always a great alternative to fuzzy cutting as it gives you those precise crisp cuts. I love how the offset makes a nice ‘hugging’ cut to the sentiment.
She finished off by adding some white detailing on and around the sakura images. Thank you so much Giorgia for sharing this gorgeous creation and a big welcome to the Team!
Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful rest of the week!
