First we have Davina’s creation. She used the two jumping characters and the track hurdle as her main images from the set. I really love her choice of patterned paper and the ink blended golden/ombré background of the card.
She used a curved slider die to make a track for my kangaroo to move across. How cute is that! The added piece of quote is a very nice touch to the sentiment from the set, “TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH”!
Next we have Vera’s card. Vera water coloured in the couple of cute turtles for her scene. I love her choice of pastel water colors. It is so dreamy!
The hearts were obtained from the negative die cuts using our Butterflies with Love stand alone die.
Thank you ladies for these gorgeous pieces, I’m sure they will inspire lots of card makers out there!
I love how she stamped out the adorable pair of cheerleaders from the set multiple times to create a whole team of cheerleaders! I love how the background color tone matches the team’s outfit!
The white heat embossed sentiment “I’LL ALWAYS BE YOUR CHEERLEADER” on black strip of cardstock compliments her card perfectly!

Today, we are going to showcase two other Penguin Perfect Patterns – Designer Stencils! And it is also your last chance to win some goodies, so please continue to read all the way to the bottom for a chance to win ^.^ ! Now let’s check out some amazing samples from our talented creative team!
I love how she starts with the darker shade in the middle and have it fades out towards the edges. She then added simple bold die-cuts alphabets to spell out the word “SHAKE” and added the “IT OFF” sentiment from our Fun Night Out stamp set.
Ashley did a pastel toned rainbow card which I totally adore! She used the Cyber Wallpaper stencil and Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, and Mermaid Lagoon to blend her background.
I love how she blended each color on just 1/3 of the stencil and rotating the stencil 90 degrees for some overlapping blending with the next color. A big scripty word die cut goes so well with the background.
Lynnea masked off the Cyber Wall Paper stencil and just blended the bottom of her card and make space for the kitty DJ from our Fun Night Out stamps set.
She added the sentiment “LET’S WIGGLE AND GIGGLE ALL NIGHT” beside the image. I love the glitter spray she used together with the stencil.

Davina used Distress Oxide inks for her blended background, namely Picket Fence, Spun Sugar, and Worn Lipstick. The splatters of water, white ink and gold metallic ink really added extra dimension to the card.
I love her choice of glittery embossing paste as the medium on the Crystal Snowflakes stencil. One can create beautiful looking background in a short amount of time. She made a gorgeous scene using the café and the little girl from our Rabbit Café stamp set.
On her ocean toned portrait format card, she blended Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks.
She did a landscape format on her second card. She ink blended Wilted Violet, Seedless pPreserves and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks.
She splattered water, and applied Aleene’s True Snow paste over for both of her cards. It really gave a wonderful snowy feel to the cards!

I love how she used two different colors for the crosses and the squares. The color tone matches the pair of turtles perfectly! And she finished off the card with the coordinating sentiment “I WANNA RUN TO YOU”. Check out her video tutorial on our YouTube channel.
Ali made for us a set of three cards! This stencil has a uniquely vivid and strong design that you can just add scripty word die-cuts or sentiments to create gorgeous cards in no time!
I love the way Ali shifted the stencil to create multi-layers effect. She combined the “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” sentiment from our It’s Your Day stamp set on two of her cards.
Ashley used the Vintage Basket stencil with Distress Oxide ink Crushed Pistachio. I love how she blended it from the outside edge towards the middle and fading the ink towards the centre.
She also realigned the stencil and did the blending again using Peacock Feathers. She combined the background with the cute dinosaur image from the Happy Track and Field (Chapter 2) stamp set. Her card once again demonstrates that one could make beautiful cards just by adding simple elements such as one single image/sentiment to this patterned background.
I love how the It’s Your Day – Stand-alone die added some the dimension to the background. She also added a fun images from our Fun Night Out stamp set, and some accessory images from the Take a Break stamp set. The confetti goes so well with the blended background!
Franci’s card is a clean and refreshing beauty! She die cut her card base out of white cardstock. I love her idea of having her blended Rain of Hearts background just in the middle of two overlaid strips of white cardstock, which really accented the frogs jumping over the hurdles!
Nice embellishments for some finishing touches!
